23rd Player Rule – Round 4, 2015

Published on Friday, May 1, 2015

This weekend marks the first of four rounds where senior clubs can utilise the 23rd Player Rule.

All Division 1 and 2 clubs will be able to select 23 plays for their senior game in Round 4.

The 23rd player must be an eligible under-19 player who has not played three or more senior games in 2015.

The 23rd player cannot be the same player in all four games. It must be a different player in each of the games.

This rule will apply during four rounds this year. They will be rounds 4, 8, 12 and 16.
