Lachie races to 150th game

The 14-year-old has raced to the milestone, regularly playing two games on a Sunday where he is always quick to put up his hand to help out the older boys when they are short of players.

Lachie is a tall forward and sometimes rotates into the ruck.

He is vice-captain of Panton Hill’s under-14 red team and was selected in the NFL under-14 representative team for this year’s Metropolitan Championships.

In round eight this year, Lachie kicked nine goals up until three-quarter time before being moved into the midfield in the final quarter.

He began playing football aged six in 2004 and played in a premiership in 2007.

Lachie was also a member of the under-14 grand final team last season and was voted best clubman at the end of 2011.

His ambition is to play at the highest level and he certainly comes from good pedigree.

Cousin Tom Hill captained the Northern Nights in 2009 and  is now with the Western Bulldogs, while cousins Joe Hill and Luke Baker are currently playing with the Northern Knights.

The Panton Hill Football Club and the Northern Football League congratulate Lachie on a fantastic achievement and wish him well in his 150th game.
