Senior Teams | August 3-4 | Northern Football Netball League

The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

All senior men’s teams in MC Labour Division 2 are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an Under-19.5 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.

Both Heidelberg and Greensborough will welcome back some massive names for their top five clash. The Tigers bring in Nathan Honey and Lachlan Wilson, while the Boro have five massive inclusions back this weekend, including Thomas Brindley, Angus Seivers and Jamie Smith.

Jesse Tardio has been selected for North Heidelberg for the first time since Round 8, in their important trip to face Montmorency. Bulldogs captain Kyle McDonald is amongst three names missing while the Magpies have made two changes.

Hurstbridge will have some handy inclusions at their disposal such as Mitchell Moschetti and Joel Naylor ahead of their battle with Macleod, Bundoora captain Luke Collins is in for his side’s match with West Preston-Lakeside.

Jaden Collins and Lane Sinclair return for Eltham while their Saturday opponents in Banyule will miss the in-form Jack Langford.

A talented trio in Mitchell Andrews, Xavier Dimasi and Blake Watson have been added to Whittlesea’s lineup ahead of their huge clash with South Morang. The Lions welcome back Tyrone Leonardis.

St Mary’s have been dealt a blow with Jack Bianchin and Rory Hanlon out of the side for their trip to Northcote Park, meanwhile Bradley Moore and Ryan Pingree will miss for Diamond Creek when they host Lower Plenty.

Joel Lawson is out for Laurimar due to suspension, ahead of their must-win match with Panton Hill.

Kain Proctor returns for the Fitzroy Stars who do battle with Epping, while Scott Selwood and Ethan Wild are unavailable for Ivanhoe when they face Lalor.

Leigh Gilbert and Mitchell Skipper make their way back into Kinglake’s side who take on Kilmore this weekend.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s finals.
