THE SELECTED senior teams for this weekend’s matches.
All Division 1 and 2 clubs will field 23 players in their senior matches, with clubs allowed to play an additional under-19 eligible player in the senior side. Division 3 clubs will also use the rule at times throughout the season, with Banyule and Watsonia able to do so this weekend.
After winning its first game for the season last weekend, Bundoora has strengthened its line-up with Matthew Dennis and Josh Grabowski selected for the trip to Macleod. The Roos have added Brad Leggett but have lost Jack Langford to injury.
Heath Ayres returns for Lower Plenty for its big match against an improving Eltham. The Panthers have lost promising youngster Adam Brovedani for the match.
Northcote Park has welcomed back Oliver McEwan, Michael O’Connell and Julian Violato for its crunch home game against Montmorency. They will however be without unavailable captain Bronik Davies. Montmorency will also be without Mark McKenzie.
David Rodan will play his second game for West Preston-Lakeside when it hosts Heidelberg at J.E. Moore Park. The Tigers will be without Michael Finn.
Jason Rogers will play his first game of the season when Greensborough takes on North Heidelberg. The Boro will be without injured duo Tim Atkins and Josh Riddle.
In Division 2, ladder-leader Thomastown has made a host of changes for its trip to Whittlesea. The Bears regain Sashe Spiroski, but lose captain Anthony Fazzari, Shannon Ball and Chris Leo.
And reigning Division 3 best and fairest winner Danny O’Sullivan will feature in his first game for 2015 when Reservoir hosts St Mary’s. The Burra have recalled Liam O’Donnell.
