The Hyde name is one that holds a long history with the Greensborough Football Club.
Matthew joined the Boro from Bundoora in 2013 after his father Robert accepted the Greensborough coaching role, nearly three decades after guiding the club to back-to-back premierships.
A best and fairest winner in his first season, Matt was one the club’s key performers during its premiership campaign in 2014.
A life-long Greensborough player, McQuilken has long been a star performer for Boro and has this season continued his strong form to sit among the top five in the Coaches Player of the Year voting.
