THE SELECTED senior teams for this weekend’s matches.
Northcote Park has named Collingwood VFL utility Ryan Pendlebury for its clash with Eltham at Bill Lawry Oval, while Bryn Barnes-Webb also returns for the Cougars. The Panthers have included Billy Glasgow in an extended squad.
Macleod has lost Cathal Corr, Steve Kelly and Brad Leggett to injury as it travels to Montmorency. The Magpies have been bolstered by the return of Jesse Donaldson from Vic Metro duties.
Matthew Dennis also returns from Vic Metro as Bundoora hosts Lower Plenty at Yulong Reserve. The Bulls have also been bolstered by the inclusion of Brendan Carlyon, Luke Simpson and Josh Summers. Reigning best and fairest winner Kent Delbridge will however miss the clash.
Hurstbridge has named Essendon VFL star Marcus Marigliani (pictured) for its trip to Diamond Creek in Division 2. The 29-year-old has over 150 games experience at VFL level and was formerly an Essendon rookie listed player. The Creekers have made six changes for the match.
Key forward Ben Finnin returns for Panton Hill for its home match against Lalor, while Fitzroy Stars skipper Djaran Whyman has overcome injury and will return for his side’s important trip to Whittlesea.
In Division 3, South Morang co-captain Mitch Buckley returns to lead his side against Epping. Josh Stavely returns for the visitors, with both the Lions and Blues set to play a 23rd player in the match at Mill Park Lakes Reserve.
