The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

North Heidelberg has named Brent Harvey, Billy Hogan and Brandon Bailey for its clash with Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 ladder-leader Greensborough at Greensborough War Memorial Park, where the Boro have included ruckman Liam Read.

Both sides have lost a representative defender for the first vs third clash, with Nick Riddle to miss for the Boro, while the Bulldogs will be without Nick Matthews.

2018 Frank Rosbrook medallist Michael Brunelli returns for Heidelberg’s trip to Montmorency after missing last week’s two-point win over Greensborough. The Tigers will be without in-form defender Tom Sullivan.

Billy Jenkin and Michael Fitz-Gerald return to bolster the Magpies’ defence, although representative midfielder Stephen McCallum will miss the clash at Montmorency Park.

West Preston-Lakeside has named a settled line-up for its grand final rematch against Macleod. The Roos have lost Brad Leggett to injury and last week’s five-goal hero Muhammad Saad to Coburg, but have named VFL-listed duo Harry Simington and Jack Baker.

Bundoora welcomes back Daniel Venditti and Scott Dowell for its important trip to Ben Frilay Oval to take on Hurstbridge. The Bridges have recalled key forward Jack Donnelly.

Meanwhile, Northcote Park goal sneak Ricky Fandrich returns for the Cougars’ home match against Lower Plenty at Bill Lawry Oval. The Bears have lost versatile tall Ciaran Porter to injury.

In A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2, Banyule returns from the bye and has included key trio Scott Gumbleton, James Kroussoratis and Tim Martin for its trip to Coventry Oval to take on Diamond Creek, although Brent Stanton will miss.

Hugh Kavanagh will play his first game since Round 8 for the Creekers, although Josh Marchbank will miss after being named in the best players in last week’s vital win away to Eltham.

Anton Woods and Josh Merkel are among six inclusions for Eltham as it looks to rebound when it travels to Sir Douglas Nicholls Oval to meet the Fitzroy Stars.

Lionel Proctor and Max Maynard have been named for the sixth-placed Stars as they seek a win to keep their finals hopes alive, following last week’s disappointing home loss to Thomastown.

Whittlesea midfielder Xavier Dimasi returns from a two-week injury layoff for his side’s clash with in-form St Mary’s at Whatmough Park. The Burra have named Chris Petroro and ruckman Jordan Galea among four inclusions.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Adam Dennis returns for Laurimar as it hunts a 13th win on the trot in its trip to Heidelberg Park to take on fifth-placed Heidelberg West. Mitch Golby will miss after kicking two goals in last week’s victory over Kilmore.

Panton Hill ruckman Joel McLellan will play his fifth game of the season and first since Round 6 when the Redbacks host Old Eltham Collegians at A.E. Cracknell Reserve. Matthew Byron, Nathan Hendry and Jonty Rushton also return for the Redbacks.

Elsewhere, South Morang has named Jake Potter for its top-four clash with Kilmore at Mill Park Lakes Reserve, while Daniel Moore returns for Lalor’s bottom of the table clash with Reservoir.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to each match.
