The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

Competition returns this weekend following an enforced two-week break during Melbourne’s most recent COVID lockdown.

Clubs in MC Labour Division 2 and Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an under-19 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.

In Meadows Greyhounds Division 1, Billy Hogan returns for his first game since Round 7 when North Heidelberg hosts Greensborough at Shelley Reserve, although Brent Harvey is among three outs for the Bulldogs.

Greensborough will be without Thomas Brindley and Adrian Cataldo for the top-five clash.

Carl Adams returns for West Preston-Lakeside’s home match against Hurstbridge, where the visiting side has named two-time Frank Rosbrook medallist Daniel Keenan for his first game of the season.

Bundoora has named a near full-strength line-up for its match against Macleod, with the Bulls including Daniel Younan, David Mitchell and Scott Dowell. The Roos have lost Brad Leggett for the match at Yulong Reserve.

In MC Labour Division 2, Brent Stanton, Riley Loton, Nick Biscontin and Patrik Della Rocca all come into Banyule’s line-up for its top-three clash against Eltham at Beverley Rd Oval, while Bradyn Taglieri and Darcy Vallance return for the Panthers.

Tyler Barnes is one of four inclusions for Diamond Creek’s top-four battle with Lower Plenty, where the second-placed Bears will be without Josh Turner and Cameron Elmore.

Thomastown will be bolstered by the return of Tyrone Leonardis, Daniel Chadwick and Todd Hughes for its trip to A.K. Lines Reserve to take on Watsonia, while the Saints regain Lachlan Potter, Jesse Presser and Kobe Van Zwienen.

Meanwhile, Epping will take a significantly improved side to A.E. Cracknell Reserve, with Jhye Baddeley-Kelly, Alec Buchan and Leigh Judd among a host of inclusions for the Blues’ match against Panton Hill.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Tye Hall and Alex Colaidis have been named by ladder-leader South Morang for its home match against Heidelberg West

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
