Senior Teams | May 5-6 | Northern Football Netball League

The senior teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

All Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 and A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2 teams are eligible to select a 23rd Player in this week’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an under-19 eligible player who has played fewer than three senior matches.

Bundoora will be without Matthew Dennis, Brent Marshall and Andrew Sturgess when it hosts Heidelberg at Yulong Reserve. The Bulls have made seven changes, with Brenton Keating and Damandeep Aujla among the inclusions.

Heidelberg regains Will Goss, however Callum Lewis is among the outs.

Montmorency will make the trip to De Winton Park to play Macleod without Ben Fennell, Tyrone Leonardis and Ben Walton.

Northcote Park has also lost a host of key players for its home match against West Preston-Lakeside at Bill Lawry Oval. Ash Close has earned a call-up for Collingwood’s VFL team, while Nick Carter, Joel Donaldson and James Svarc will miss through injury.

Greensborough co-captain Tristan Stead returns for his side’s battle against North Heidelberg at War Memorial Park. The Bulldogs have added Mitchell Dillon.

Nathan Stefanile has been named for his first game of the year when Whittlesea hosts Hurstbridge. The Bridges will be without Travis Cloke.

In A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2, Diamond Creek will be without Tyler Barnes, Jai Norman and Jake Battye for its top-four match against Lower Plenty.

Fitzroy Stars regain Clinton Benjamin, Max Maynard and Allan Norris as they search for their first win of the season against Epping.

Michael Still returns for Eltham, although Paul Currie will miss the Panthers’ match at Watsonia. The Saints will be without Kieran Sheehan.

Scott Gumbleton returns from a two-match absence to lead Banyule in its home match against Thomastown. Matthew Ferraro will miss the game for Thomastown.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Daniel Bailey and Harley Mozdzierz are among seven inclusions for Heidelberg West when it hosts Reservoir. Both sides are searching for their first win of the season.

Panton Hill has lost Brent Ryan for its twilight match at A.E. Cracknell Reserve against St Mary’s.

Selected teams for the three ANZ NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
