Coach Wanted: La Trobe University Netball Club

Published on Friday, February 28, 2020

La Trobe University Netball Club is seeking a coach to run its netball program in 2020.

We will be putting in one or two teams in the NFNL netball competition in our second year of the league.

Based on the Bundoora campus (La Trobe Sports Park), La Trobe Netball Club is gearing for an exciting season of netball in 2020.

With the new facilities La Trobe Sport has offered, the netball club will be making the most of them throughout the season.

2019 was our first season in the league and after making it to the finals, we are looking forward to another successful season to grow and develop.

This is a contract position and we are willing to pay for any additional qualifications that would be required. Payment will be based upon qualifications.

The position includes a team training session on a weekly basis (Tuesday nights, 5-6pm in the new La Trobe Sports Complex) and the game on a Friday night (games varying from 6-9pm, location varying between La Trobe Uni, Parade College and RMIT Uni).

We are looking at entering two  teams and think that this would be a good opportunity for a younger coach looking to develop skills and run their own squad of players. However, an experienced coach is also a target for our club.

LTUNC is after a passionate and motivated coach with an emphasis on the ability of the following characteristics:

• Encourage netballers to achieve their best
• Develop player skills and general netball ability
• Support the club vision
• Continue to uphold the club’s reputation as an enjoyable place for netballers to enjoy their netball and socialise through participation.

If you or someone you know is interested in this position, please contact La Trobe University Netball Club via our email:

Closing date for applications: Friday 20th March 2020
