Under-17s Coach Wanted: Diamond Creek Football Netball Club

Diamond Creek Football Netball Club is seeking a coach for its Under-17 Boys football team for the 2021 season.

Established in 1888, Diamond Creek Football Netball Club is affiliated with the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL).

We are currently seeking applications for an Under-17 coach in the 2021 season and beyond.

Working under the guidance of senior coach Andrew Tranquilli and reporting to the club’s football managers, the successful applicant will be required to develop and transition this team from junior football into the senior club.

This role comes with a remuneration package for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote the club’s culture of “Fun Fair Football”
• Develop the players knowledge of Australian Rules Football
• Develop the players health, strength and fitness
• Introduce the playing group to the senior coaches game style
• Analyse matches to provide individual feedback
• Managing players and parents expectations

Key attributes to be successful in obtaining this role

• Good understanding of modern football game styles and philosophies
• Proven coaching experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A high level of organisational skills
• Good analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new training and playing methods
• Minimum level 1 coaching accreditation
• Current Working with Children check
