Updating your accreditation
All on court accredited umpires are required to complete a combination of practical umpiring hours and complete professional development opportunities over a 4-year period to maintain their Netball Australia C, B, A or AA accreditation.
All umpire badges are valid for a 4-year period.
You should update your accreditation within 6 months of your current expiry date. Netball Learning will remind you via email when your accreditation is nearing expiry.
If your accreditation has already expired, you will need to email Netball Australia for a recognition of prior learning at learning@netball.com.au

Off-Court Umpires
Off-court umpires do not need to maintain a valid accreditation if they are not actively umpiring. Off-court umpires who are Mentors, Testers or Developers still must complete the Rules of Netball Exam every 4 years to be eligible to present and/or test as part of the National Umpire Accreditation System.
