Senior Teams | July 20-21 | Northern Football Netball League

The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

Adam Carafa and Daniel Owen headline four massive inclusions for Banyule as they look to return to the winners list tomorrow. Their Saturday opponents in Greensborough have made one change, with Jackson Hasler back in the side.

Heidelberg make five changes for their 2023 Grand Final re-match with Bundoora. Solomon McKay headlines the inclusions, but they will miss Sean Martin and Brayden Sier. The Bulls meanwhile welcome back captain Luke Collins.

Dane Whitnall returns from VFL duties for North Heidelberg as they host Macleod, he is one of three inclusions for the Bulldogs who will be without Brent Harvey, while the Roos will bring in Luke Joyce for his first senior game of the season.

Kye Agosta (Hurstbridge) and Matthew Byron (Eltham) are also in for their respective sides this weekend.

Neville Jetta and Lionel Proctor are some of the big names that have been added for the Fitzroy Stars, as they do battle with Mernda in a massive Division 3 clash. Travis Keating and Zachary Racovolis have been selected for the Demons.

Bradyn Taglieri will play his first match for Old Eltham Collegians since Round 11 when they prepare for their huge battle with Ivanhoe. The Hoers have been forced to make seven changes from their Round 13 team, with crucial players such as Benjamin Cococcia, Ben Ernst, Andrew Otten and Scott Selwood all unavailable.

Sam Gilmore and Mitchell Merkel will miss for Old Paradians’ as they host Reservoir, while Jordan Vellios and Liam Wanders return for Heidelberg West in their trip to Kilmore.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
