The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches are in.
James Condello and Trent Warren shape up as massive inclusions for Macleod’s mini elimination final against Greensborough. The Boro welcome back Andrew Stellas but will again miss Tynan Smith.
Lin Jong makes his return from injury ahead of Montmorency’s clash with West Preston-Lakeside while Paul Higgins is a notable ommission from Whittlesea’s squad against Hurstbridge.
Both Bundoora and North Heidelberg will be without key names ahead of their battle at Yulong Reserve, with Bulls co-captain Luke Collins out due to suspension while Jhye Baddeley-Kelly will miss for the Bulldogs.
Devin McDonald and Xavier Mitchell return for Banyule’s qualifying final against Lower Plenty but Brent Stanton will be unavailable. Lower Plenty have made one change, welcoming back Ben Paterson.
Diamond Creek will be bolstered by some massive inclusions for their elimination final clash with Thomastown. The Creekers bringing in the likes of Jacob Booth, Hugh Kavanagh and Matthew Lewis for the match. Thomastown make one change from their big win over St Mary’s last week.
Joshua Renehan leads the inclusions for South Morang while their semi-final opponents in Laurimar will welcome back Nathan Andrews and Ethan Frawley.
Old Eltham Collegians make five changes to the side that went down to Heidelberg West last week, with Benjamin Cox, Benjamin Gill and Niall Mconagh leading the inclusions.
Their Sunday opponents in Kilmore make four changes, with attacking duo Grant Paxton and Marcus Webb slotting back into the line-up.
