The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.
All senior men’s teams in Melbourne Greyhounds Division 1 are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an Under-19.5 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.
Some more huge names for Heidelberg make their way back into the side for their top of the table clash with Banyule. Sean Martin and Solomon McKay will headline the inclusions for the Tigers.
The Bears welcome back Vivian Blackmore-Moore, with Sebastian Francis-Perkins making a senior club debut, however they will miss Reuben Blackmore-Moore, Adam Carafa and Tim Martin for the game.
Harrison Andronaco and Kristian Ferronato each return for Greensborough as they host North Heidelberg, who will have Liam Hunt back at their disposal.
Montmorency’s two leading goalkickers in Ayhan Bajramov and Patrick Fitzgerald return for Montmorency as they host Eltham, with the Panthers to miss Matthew Byron but will welcome back Ben Quaynor.
Darcy Hogg is in for Macleod as they take on West Preston-Lakeside, while Bundoora captain Luke Collins also returns as his side face a Hurstbridge team who bring back Mitchell Hymus.
South Morang will bring in Joshua D’Intinosante and Kain Hall when they take on Laurimar, who will have Joel Lawson back.
Riley Alexander is in for Lower Plenty as they travel to St Mary’s, while Scott Conte will miss Panton Hill’s important battle with Watsonia.
Collingwood VFL listed forward Patrick Farrant has been selected for the Fitzroy Stars in their NAIDOC Cup game with Old Paradians.
Andy Otten and Scott Selwood headline the inclusions for Ivanhoe as they host Heidelberg West, meanwhile Reservoir captain Zechariah Cuppens returns for Reservoir, in their important clash with Lalor.
Both Mernda and Old Eltham Collegians will bring in some important names for their highly anticipated contest. The Demons have added Matthew Bawden and Matthew Golledge to their squad, while the Turtles have included Matthew Keys and Sean Leersen.
