The Montmorency Football Netball Club is seeking applications for multiple coaching roles in its senior women’s sides for the 2025 season.
Based at Montmorency Park, the Magpies are accepting applications from suitably qualified applicants for the following position in 2025:
– Development Coach
– Assistant Coaches
The Montmorency senior women’s team commenced in 2012 initially with the VWFL and are now currently playing in the Northern Football Netball League. The club currently has two senior women’s sides.
In 2023, the Division 1 side were successful in winning the Grand Final, while the Development side also played in the finals series.
The Development side finished on the bottom of the ladder in Division 2 in 2024, and we are seeking to further develop the side. Our focus for the Development side is to have fun, make friendships and provide everyone with an opportunity to play football.
Our program caters for players who wish to excel in the game and also for those who just want to enjoy the game and have fun.
The successful applicants will need to have the necessary coaching qualifications (the right applicant will be supported in obtaining the qualifications) and will be supported in developing their skills.
The preferred candidates would ideally display the following attributes:
– Help girls develop and understand female football|
– Create an environment that is challenging, enjoyable, fun and inclusive.
