Statement – North Heidelberg vs Macleod scoring error

The Northern Football Netball League can confirm a scoring error was made during the Round 8 seniors match between North Heidelberg and Macleod at Shelley Reserve.

A review of match vision confirmed a behind was incorrectly added to North Heidelberg’s score during the second term following a kick that was correctly adjudged out of bounds on the full.

The final score on the day finished 11.6 (72) to 10.11 (71) in North Heidelberg’s favour.

Upon reviewing the full match replay the NFNL can confirm the score from the match was North Heidelberg 11.5 (71) to Macleod 10.11 (71).

The NFNL has determined the final score will be adjusted accordingly, with the result to be deemed a draw and both sides awarded two premiership points.
