All the details for the 2023 NFNL Air Fusion Junior Grand Finals.
A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO
The League would like to thank our junior football finals naming rights partner Air Fusion, for their support throughout the season.
2023 saw another great campaign in our junior football competition. We had over 240 teams registered with age groups ranging from under 9’s through to under 18’s. We will also have 18 clubs with at least one side playing off in a Grand Final this weekend which is an outstanding achievement.
We would like to acknowledge the commitment and contributions of not only our players on the field but also our coaches, matchday officials, club officials, parents and carers that support all our participants.
Also, a big thank you to all the host clubs of our junior finals series. The league was incredibly pleased that all host clubs had sides compete in our junior football season in 2023. The hospitality shown by host clubs this year has been excellent and without the support of the clubs and their volunteers, the finals would not be able to take place, without our volunteers this all wouldn’t be possible.
Grand Final Day is also a terrific time for our junior umpires, and we thank them for their contribution and wonderful performances throughout the season that have led them to officiating Grand Finals this weekend.
In addition, we would like to thank our ground managers and our dedicated NFNL staff for their tireless efforts in making the entire finals series run smoothly.
A reminder to all that we must ensure that the environment and atmosphere on and off the field is positive and respectful. Please remember any abuse towards umpires, players, spectators or matchday officials is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
I have no doubt Sunday will be an incredible experience for all those involved, and we wish all competing teams the very best of luck as we look forward to a fantastic end to our junior season in 2023.
