The fixture for the opening round of the 2023 NFNL Winter Netball season has been released.
The 2023 winter netball season will feature a record 105 teams with 26 clubs represented, including Kinglake, who will fill two sides in their first NFNL winter netball season.
The opening round will be played this Friday April 21.
Matches will be played across four venues during the 2023 season.
The venues will be:
– La Trobe Stadium – Bundoora
– Mernda Central P-12
– RMIT – Bundoora
– Community Bank Stadium – Diamond Creek
– Eltham Leisure Centre
All 105 teams will begin in one grading section, before being placed into their respective sections.
During grading rounds, teams will still be awarded four points for a win and two points for a draw.
The quarter length of all grading matches will be 10 minutes.

Please note: Fixtures for the remaining three rounds of grading will be released in the week leading up to each round.
All players, officials and spectators are reminded of the following conditions that will be in place during the 2023 winter netball season.
– Entry to all venues is $3.00 per person over the age of 16.
– No cash shall be accepted CARD ONLY.
– Players and coaches must be registered with the NFNL and have current Netball Victoria membership.
– Officials must be registered with the NFNL and will be required to be added to the team sheet weekly.
The NFNL Coaches and Co-Ordinator’s Meeting will take place tonight at 6:00pm through an online meeting.
This is a compulsory meeting for all Coaches and Co-Ordinator’s.
