23rd Player Rule – Round 8

FOR the second time this season, the 23rd Player Rule will be enacted in Division 1 this weekend.

All Division 1 clubs will be eligible to select 23 plays for their senior game. The 23rd player must be an under-19 player.

This rule will apply during four rounds throughout the year. It has already been used in Round 4 this season, and will again be utilised in rounds 8, 12 and 16.

The 23rd player cannot be the same player in all four games. It must be a different player in each of the games.

Eltham – Daniel Coffield
Greensborough – Kyle McDonald
Heidelberg – N/A
Lower Plenty – Joseph Vaccaro
Macleod – Ben Hines
Montmorency – Lachlan O’Brien
Northcote Park – David Cappellari
West Preston-Lakeside – Matthew Vincitorio
Whittlesea – Paul Higgins
