Watsonia Sporting Club has confirmed the reappointment of senior football coach George Lattouf for the 2021 season.

Lattouf joined the Saints in 2019 following a stint as reserves coach of Division 1 outfit West Preston-Lakeside.

He has also previously served as senior coach at both Parkside and Thomastown.
Jeremy Bennett will serve as senior assistant coach, alongside club vice-president Scott Barnett and club legend and games record holder Warren Harris.

A statement from the club said:

“We are pleased to have George at the helm for 2021 as he brings so much energy and enthusiasm to the role,” the statement said.

“George fits our player demographic well and has developed strong relationships with our playing group.

“George has also built a great coaching crew around him.

“We can look forward now to 2021 with the right people in the key football roles which will give us the best chance for success.”

Watsonia finished the 2019 season in eighth spot on the A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2 ladder with a 3-13 record, an improvement on the 2018 campaign when it managed only a solitary win.
