Senior Teams | April 8-10 | Northern Football Netball League

The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches are in for this weekends action.

In Melbourne Greyhounds Division 1, West Preston-Lakeside welcome back a host of names for their clash against Whittlesea with Nathan Valladares, Max Dreher and Luke Lirosi all returning for the Roosters.

Jarrad Waite and Jaron Murphy will miss for the Eagles but after playing his first VFL game for Collingwood last weekend, Zach Molloy will line up for the blue and gold on Saturday.

Jai Burns will play his first game of the year for the Bulls this weekend when they host Montmorency while the Magpies will be without Jesse Donaldson.

North Heidelberg will regain tall Anthony Daw for their night fixture against Northcote Park, Jordan Schroder will miss for the Cougars.

Banyule make one change with Brent Stanton set to make his first appearance of the year with the Bears in their big MC Labour Division 2 clash with Thomastown. Riley Loton will miss.

Thomastown will be without captain Josh Beare and defender Daniel Bramich as they look to avoid a 0-2 start to their 2022 campaign.

After playing all 12 games last year, Lane Sinclair returns for Eltham in their important game against Diamond Creek while Lower Plenty will welcome back Billy Barden when they host the Fitzroy Stars.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, South Morang will be without Nathan Bell and Jake Potter when they face Heidelberg West at Mill Park Lakes while Thomas McMillan returns for Kilmore in their big match against Laurimar.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
