The Heidelberg West Football Netball club seek the services of a Development and Senior Assistant coach for season 2023.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a great communicator, the role is imperative to help further develop an already exciting list.
Working in conjunction with the Senior Coach, core to role will be preparing all developing footballers in readiness for senior football opportunities. Importantly, the successful applicant will work alongside the senior coaching group to help drive core standards and excellence within the playing group.
The successful applicant will demonstrate;
– Level 1 coaching or willingness to obtain a level 1 coaching accreditation
– Previous experience within a successful football environment
– Experience in helping to deliver a structured and disciplined approach to both training sessions and matchdays
– Ability to assist and contribute to both Tuesday and Thursday night training nights
– Ability to guide and mentor young footballers into senior footballers
– Provide ongoing feedback and support to all players
– Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with players, committee members and club supporters in a respectful and inclusive manner
– Club first mentality to help drive player and club standards
Playing or Non-Playing applicants will be considered for the role and remuneration is negotiable based on experience.
