The senior teams for Round 6.
This week’s ins are headlined by former Collingwood and Fremantle star Chris Tarrant, who plays a cameo game for Hurstbridge against Mernda.
Tarrant played 268 AFL games and booted 367 goals. He was also a member of three Collingwood grand final teams.
In other news, Ricky Dyson and Kent Delbridge return for Bundoora ahead of its top of the table clash with Heidelberg. The Tigers have named an extended squad, although 2011 competition best and fairest Michael Finn is out of the Tigers’ line-up.
Montmorency will boast its strongest team of the season when it travels to J.E. Moore Park to play West Preston-Lakeside. The Magpies have included Ben Walton, Mark McKenzie and Harley Ryan, while the Roosters have lost captain Shaun Gannon.
Eltham has been bolstered by the inclusion of Bradyn Taglieri, Eamon Gilbert and Josh Merkel for its home match against Macleod. The Kanagroos have lost Jack Langford to Essendon’s VFL team.
Nick Riddle has been named to play for Greensborough as it travels to Whittlesea. The Eagles have added Matt Dornauf amongst their inclusions.
Having signed on the dotted line during the week, former Heidelberg forward Saul Caddy will play his first game for Mernda when the Demons travel to Hurstbridge.
