The senior teams for this weekend’s matches.
The biggest inclusion is from West Preston-Lakeside, with former Melbourne best and fairest winner Aaron Davey named to play his second game for the Roosters. This week’s opponent, Whittlesea, has regained Brenton Briffa, but will be without Dale Saddington.
Macleod welcomes back star forward Nick Lynch for its home clash with Greensborough. However, the Kangaroos will be without hard-nosed utility Cathal Corr.
Speedster Tom Rogers will return for Eltham’s home clash with local rival Montmorency, while Lower Plenty has suffered a blow ahead of its home match against Bundoora, with Matthew Duckworth a key exclusion.
Division 2 club Diamond Creek will be bolstered by the return of Hugh Kavanagh from injury as it prepares to host Epping. The Blues have recalled Shane Wood from suspension.
St Mary’s has made six changes for its Division 3 meeting with Watsonia. The Saints have also been forced into a number of changes, with key players Jeremy Bennett and Jarryd Allan both excluded.
Meanwhile, South Morang has strengthened its squad for its important match against Reservoir. The Lions have included Nick Johnston and Troy Jinnette.
