Heatley calls time at Bill Lawry Oval

NORTHCOTE PARK coach Jason Heatley will step down at the end of the 2014 season.

Below is a statement released by the club, announcing Heatley’s resignation.

Northcote Park Football Club is sad to announce that senior coach, Jason Heatley, will not be continuing in 2015.

Jason will be finishing at the end of season 2014 after three seasons at the helm.

In this time he has coached a premiership, been named NFL and AFCA Northern Region Coach Of The Year and this season was the successful coach of the NFL senior representative side.

We thank Jason for his tireless input.  Northcote Park Football Club will not be the same without him.

On another sad note, Jason’s right hand man, football manager John Matthew, will also be standing down at the end of the season due to family health issues.

Matto will be sorely missed as he has been the architect of numerous premierships at our club

His commitment and sense of humour makes him not only a great clubman, but in my mind the best football manager going around.

We wish John, Lyn, and family all the best for the future.

With this in mind, applications for senior coach and football manager are now open.

Kind Regards,
Dennis McNiece
