Roosters earn Gold Level Accreditation

CONGRATULATIONS to West Preston-Lakeside Football Club for receiving a Gold Level Club accreditation for its efforts over the past two years as part of the AFL Victoria Quality Club Program.

Creating a quality environment to any football club is so significant and would be an enormous benefit to a club as a whole and all of the club members. West Preston-Lakeside have deservedly achieved that and been rewarded.

The concept of the Quality Club Program is to provide an opportunity for all community football clubs in Victoria to achieve a minimum standard of club administration and to recognise and reward clubs for achieving the base standard through to standards of excellence.

Achieving Gold standard as a club shows that West Preston-Lakeside has gone above and beyond the minimum standard of administration and should be proud of that fact, as are the Northern Football League and AFL Victoria. The Roosters are now one of only five clubs across Victoria accredited at Gold Level.

With a limited number achieving the highest level a football club can achieve, the efforts of all at the West Preston-Lakeside, particularly Paddy McVeigh and Lauren Rizzacasa, who were the driving force behind the achievement, has been well acknowledged.

On behalf of AFL Victoria and the Northern Football League, we congratulate West Preston-Lakeside on addressing the benefits of providing a quality environment for all people associated with Australian Football.
