THE SELECTED senior teams for this weekend’s matches.
After losing two of its past three matches, Macleod will be strengthened by the return of Jack Langford, Nick Lynch and Hayden Seivers for its trip to Lower Plenty. The Bears have added Cam Elmore, Nick Mackay and Dillan Ronalds among five changes from the side which was well beaten at Northcote Park last week.
Kent Delbridge and Matthew Dennis have both been named for Bundoora as it prepares to host reigning premier and ladder-leader Greensborough. The Boro have lost Ricky Mullins to injury.
Mark McKenzie returns for Montmorency as the Magpies search for their second win of the season and fourth successive win over Heidelberg at Warringal Park.
Eltham travels to J.E. Moore Park without Stephen Witkowski for a clash with in-form West Preston-Lakeside. The Roosters have named an unchanged side following consecutive wins over Montmorency and Heidelberg.
Ash Close and Jake Mills will both play their first game since Round 1 when Northcote Park visits Shelley Reserve to play North Heidelberg. The Bulldogs have made two changes, with Gazi Assi among the inclusions.
Hurstbridge has been dealt a huge blow ahead of its big clash against Division 2 ladder-leader Thomastown, with Chris Burton, Ryan Burton and Jarrod Tilley all named to miss. The Bears have included Josh Totino to play his first game with the club after crossing from Epping.
Diamond Creek has lost Jedd McQueen for its home match against Fitzroy Stars, with the Stars making three changes following their draw against Whittlesea last week.
Daniel Moore and Chris Chilcott both look set to miss Epping’s important road trip to Banyule in Division 3, meanwhile Luke Manning has been recalled to South Morang’s senior side against Watsonia in his 250th match.
