Heidelberg’s Jason Kennedy will captain Vic Metro against AFL Queensland on Sunday, with five NFL representatives in the team.
Kennedy will lead a Vic Metro line-up that also contains Matthew Dennis (Bundoora), Jesse Donaldson (Montmorency), Lucas Hobbs (Macleod) and Nick Riddle (Greensborough).
The Vic Metro team, comprising of the best of Melbourne’s premier community leagues, travels to Queensland on Saturday before taking the field at the Moreton Bay Sports Complex at 1:00pm on Sunday afternoon.
The Queensland side will be made up of players from the North East Australian Football League, combined with the best from their community competitions.
Vic Metro will be coached by Brian Royal, with NFL representative coach Jason Heatley one of Royal’s assistants.
