THE FORMER AFL contingent represented in the Northern Football League will be bolstered further in the back end of the 2014 season.

Having already featured once during the home and away season, Campbell Brown will line-up for a further two matches for Lower Plenty, while Aaron Davey has confirmed his allegiance to West Preston-Lakeside.

Lower Plenty football manager Tony Newlands confirmed Brown will play another two matches this season – against Macleod in Round 15 and West Preston-Lakeside in Round 17 – between commitments with radio station, Triple M.

Brown kicked two goals in his first appearance for the Bears in Round 9, helping the club to a 10-point home win against local neighbour Montmorency.

He joins the club following 205 AFL games with Hawthorn and the Gold Coast Suns between 2002-2013. In 2008 he was a member of the Hawks’ premiership team.

West Preston-Lakeside football manager Paul McInerney revealed Davey is a confirmed starter when the Roosters host Division 1 rival Whittlesea this Saturday.

The game will be played at J.E. Moore Park, commencing at 2:10pm.

Davey first featured for the Roosters in Round 7, kicking two goals and featuring amongst the best in a 21-point loss to Heidelberg at Warringal Park.

Davey retired from AFL football at the conclusion of the 2013 season following 178 games and 174 goals with Melbourne.
