South Morang Football Club’s Jade Gresham was selected in the 2015 Under-18 All Australian Team.
The 17-year-old was named in the forward pocket after an exceptional Under-18 National Championships for Vic Metro.
The Northern Knights captain Jade Gresham was also named Vic Metro’s Most Valuable Player at the carnival.
Gresham played in five of Vic Metro’s six matches and was named in the best in each of the games, including best on ground performances in both of the final two matches.
Gresham averaged 23.4 disposals per game across the carnival, as well as kicking six goals as a midfielder.
He was one of three players from Vic Metro to earn All Australian selection, along with Nick O’Kearney and Harley Balic.
The selection panel consisted of AFL national talent manager Kevin Sheehan, talent football manager Michael Ablett, NAB AFL Academy coach Brenton Sanderson and football projects officer and St Kilda great Lenny Hayes.
Club recruiters Michael Agresta (Sydney Swans), Dom Milesi (Collingwood), Chris Drain (Port Adelaide) and Simon Dalrymple (Western Bulldogs) made up the group.
Gresham has also enjoyed a stellar season in the TAC Cup with the Northern Knights and continues to impress ahead of this year’s AFL National Draft.
