Heidelberg West Football Netball Club has announced their senior men’s coach for the 2024 season, with Dale Mayne confirmed to take on the role.
This is Mayne’s first senior men’s coaching role but has had stints as an assistant with both Banyule and Montmorency.
He replaces Michael Missen who had spent the last four years in the role.

Heidelberg West Football Netball Club is extremely excited to announce the appointment of Dale Mayne as our senior coach for the upcoming 2024 season.
This will be Dale’s first senior coaching opportunity, but he comes with a thorough coaching apprenticeship having served as senior assistant at both Banyule and Montmorency (reserves coach) during successful campaigns.
Having coached multiple youth and successful colts teams over the past 10 years at Banyule and stints as YJFL under 16 interleague and colts team of the year coach, Dale is renowned for his passion to develop youth.
We look forward to having Dale bring all of our playing groups together as well as representing and being a strong promoter of Heidelberg West Football Netball Club.
