THE NORTHERN Football League is looking for volunteers to join its media team for the 2016 season.
The Northern Football League is the premier sporting competition in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.
This opportunity provides a fantastic introduction to journalism and media students wishing to gain invaluable experience in sports media.
It also caters for supporters and former players who have a passion for football and are wishing to continue their involvement at grass-roots level.
There are positions available across a number of mediums, including:
Print: Write match reports, match previews and feature articles for The Northerner, the match-day publication of the Northern Football League.
Web: Content writer or columnist for the NFL website – www.nfl.org.au.
Video: Film and edit video highlights packages for the NFL website and YouTube channel.
Netball: Write netball match reports and features for the NFL website.
