Join the NFNL football umpiring team in 2022

The NFNL is looking for new recruits to join its umpiring team for the 2022 football season which is fast approaching.

WHY UMPIRE?

• Earn great tax-free money
• Keep fit
• Learn new skills
• Make friends
• Develop self-confidence and people skills
• Opportunities to progress to State League and AFLW
• Umpiring looks great on your resume

NFNL Umpiring will provide coaches with recent VFL experience, along with AFL umpires attending training and talent pathway programs for umpires aspiring to higher levels.

With the continual growth of the NFNL’s football competitions and a record number of matches predicted, we are actively seeking to add to our number of field, boundary, and goal umpires.

You can umpire close to home, officiate back-to-back games and choose to umpire on Saturday or Sunday, or a combination of both.

Some umpires earn over $300 a weekend TAX-FREE and others $500 a month – the choice is yours. Payments are made monthly and directly into your bank account.

NFNL Head of Umpiring Cameron Nash said umpiring is a great way to stay involved in the game and be active in the community – particularly for past players looking to keep fit, parents wanting to be active or football followers that would like to give umpiring a go.

Weekly training and coaching are provided to ensure new and returning umpires are continually developed.

“Many parents volunteer as goal and boundary umpires in our matches – here’s the perfect opportunity to get paid for it,” Nash said.

Be part of the community and become an umpire. Keep fit, help out, learn leadership skills, be part of a team and get paid for it – TAX-FREE!

You never know, it might just take you all the way to the top. The average AFL umpire earns $120k a year, part time.

If you love your footy, you will love being an umpire.
