Reservoir will enter the 2024 Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 season with a new senior men’s coach following the appointment of Rohan Davies.

The Mustangs confirmed the announcement in December, 2023 after parting ways with Justin George earlier in the month.

Davies returns to the NFNL as a coach following his playing career with Mernda, which included captaining the Demons to the 2012 Division 3 premiership as well as two NFNL league best and fairests.

He has also had coaching experience at multiple clubs and comes to Crispe Park following back-to-back premierships as senior men’s coach of Mulwala in 2022 and 2023.

A club statement said:

We are unbelievably thrilled to announce our new senior coach for 2024, Rohan Davies!

Rohan exhibits all the remarkable qualities we look for in our leaders.

Rohan’s exceptional football resume speaks for itself:

– Back to Back Premiership Senior Coach at Mulwala in 2022-2023, breaking a 32 year drought!
– Playing Assistant under well respected coach, Marc Almond at Corowa in 2019
– Senior Playing Coach in 2017 in the Northern Territory Football League & winner of the league Best & Fairest Award.
– Captain of Mernda FC’s senior premiership side in 2012 & NFNL Best & Fairest 2012 & 2013

We are so excited & cannot wait to have Rohan take the reins as head coach once the Mustangs return for 2024!
