Position Vacant: NFL Director of Umpiring

The Northern Football League is seeking a Director of Umpiring to manage the league’s umpiring department.

The Northern Football League is the premier local sporting competition in the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

The NFL consists of 25 senior football clubs across three divisions and 26 junior clubs spread from inner-city suburb Northcote to Wallan on the northern fringes of Melbourne.

The Director of Umpiring will be responsible for:

•    The management of the NFL Umpire Department
•    The appointment and management of all coaches for each umpire discipline
•    The recruitment and retention of all umpires in the NFL
•    Conducting all umpire education and accreditation programs
•    Developing a strong relationship with the Northern Umpires Association (NUA)
