The senior teams for this week’s NFL matches
AFL games-record holder Brent Harvey has been named for North Heidelberg, while former Melbourne captain Jack Grimes is among six new faces for Hurstbridge.
Northcote Park hosts an unchanged West Preston-Lakeside line-up in tonight’s clash at Bill Lawry Oval. Paul Dirago, Collingwood VFL listed player Jackson Starcevich and Jayden Brennan all make their Cougars’ debut.
Daniel Francis and Trent and Troy Barbero join Jack Grimes in Hurstbridge’s return to the top flight. The Bridges host Macleod who have named newcomer Ned Mabon.
Heidelberg will unfurl its 2016 premiership flag when it hosts Bundoora. Will Goss is in among two changes for the Tigers, while Bundoora has named Kris Bardon, Todd Hughes and Scott Dowell for their club debuts.
Meanwhile, Tim Atkins will play his first game for Whittlesea when the Eagles host Montmorency.
In A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2, North Heidelberg has named nine new players for its blockbuster against Diamond Creek.
Brent Harvey leads the ins, while Blair Harvey, Adam Braendler and Josh Doherty have also been selected. The Creekers have added ruckman Josh Marchbank and Josh Alam.
Mark Favrin, Dale Nolan and Fabian Dorbolo will play their first game for Lower Plenty when the Bears host Fitzroy Stars. The Stars have included big man Clinton Edwards among eight additions.
Matthew Vasilevski makes his Thomastown debut when the Bears take on fierce rival Lalor. Spike Ingley and Mitch Henwood are in for the Bloods.
Meanwhile, Watsonia and Panton Hill have named seven and nine new players respectively for their clash at A.K Lines Reserve.
South Morang plays its first game in the Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 season and has selected Luke Jackson, Raaf Rachrache and Darren Gresham for its home outing against Laurimar.
Elsewhere, Lucas Aquilina and Kevin Kiernan return for Epping ahead of its trip to Banyule, while Reservoir co-captain Ryan Docherty will miss the Mustangs match against Mernda.
