The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.
Banyule have made seven changes in the lea dup to their clash with Hurstbridge. Adam Carafa, Riley Loton and Jack Raines headline the inclusions, but they will miss Kurt Aylett, Max Jones and Devin McDonald.
Michael Hurley is back for Macleod’s battle with West Preston-Lakeside while Hamish Shepheard and Kyle McDonald return for Bundoora and North Heidelberg respectively when they meet on Saturday.
Jamie Smith will play his first game since Round 6 for Greensborough when they make the trip to Montmorency. The Magpies welcome back Ben Paterson.
Matthew D’Angelo returns to Northcote Park’s starting lineup ahead of their clash with Lower Plenty, however Damon Marcon will miss.
Eltham will regain Jesse Donaldson as they host St Mary’s, but they will be without big names such as Daniel Horsfield, Finnbar Maley and Jackson Weatherald for the match.
Lucas Aquillina will make his return for Epping this Saturday after the club best and fairest winner transferred from Greensborough during the week. He will face a Diamond Creek side without Ewan MacPherson or Jai Norman.
Thomastown have made three changes, including the addition of Todd Hughes who will play his first senior game since 2021. He joins Joshua Mazzarella and James Rizzolio for the Bears game against South Morang.
Peter Hood headlines the inclusions for the Fitzroy Stars for their must win clash with Heidelberg West. The Hawks meanwhile made seven changes.
Nathan Andrews and Mitchell Thompson are back for Laurimar ahead of their huge match with Mernda. The Power will miss Jacson Cecil through suspension while Ryan Bongetti is out for the Demons.
