Senior Teams | July 14-16 | Northern Football Netball League

The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

Neville Jetta returns for Bundoora in their huge match with Montmorency. Joel Fitzgerald and Jedd Longmire are out for the Bulls while for the Magpies, Braedyn Gillard and Liam McMahon have been selected but they will miss Liam Wale-Buxton.

Chris Ryall headlines the inclusions for West Preston-Lakeside when they host Banyule, with the Bears’ Michael Edwards returning to the side.

Mitchell Moschetti and Blake Watson have been included in Hurtsbridge and Whittlesea’s sides respectively ahead of their battle at the Showgrounds, while Liam Nunan is back for North Heidelberg when they travel to face Macleod.

South Morang have received a big boost with multiple stars back in the side for an important clash with Diamond Creek.

Joshua D’Intinosante, Tye Hall, Mitchell Kalpakis, Aaron Lazaric, Ben Muscat and James Traianou all return for the Lions, however Nathan Stefanile will miss.

The Creekers meanwhile bring in Matthew Lewis but after kicking seven majors last week, Ryan Pingree is out due to injury.

Blake Charles will be a crucial inclusion for Watsonia for their match with Thomastown, the Bears have made six changes with Tyla Barrow, Josh Beare and Jude Georgievski some of the names to play on Saturday.

Old Eltham Collegians will bring in Sebastian Francis-Perkins for their side’s huge battle with Heidelberg West this weekend.

Meanwhile Nathan Andrews and Jacson Cecil are some of the names that will join the Laurimar side again this week when they host the Fitzroy Stars. Peter Hood headlines the additions to the Stars lineup.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
