The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

All senior men’s teams are permitted to select a 23rd Player for this weekend’s matches. The 23rd Player must be an under-19 eligible player and can’t have previously played more than two senior games.

Will Goss returns to Heidelberg’s line-up for the first time since Round 4 for the Tigers’ Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 top-three clash with Bundoora at Warringal Park.

The Bulls regain Scott Dowell and Coburg VFL tall Nathan Howard, but will be without David Mitchell for the important game.

Montmorency has named former Hawthorn-listed midfielder Will Golds for his first game with the club. The 21-year-old was selected with pick 28 in the 2019 Rookie Draft and was approved a transfer from VAFA powerhouse Old Xaverians this week.

Sam Binion and Jordan Steele are also back in the Magpies to take on North Heidelberg. The Bulldogs regain North Melbourne VFL midfielder Curtis Brown.

Nathan Hrovat will miss Greensborough’s home match against Hurstbridge at War Memorial Park, where the Boro will be looking to end a two-game losing run. Brody Tickell and Jacob Ireland have been recalled.

The Bridges have included ruckman Jamie Smith for his first game of the year.

Northcote Park has bolstered its line-up as it continues its hunt for its maiden win of the season, with two-time Frank Rosbrook medallist Bronik Davies, defender Lachlan Boscarini and forwards Matthew Grocott and Jack Sammartino all included to take on Macleod.

The in-form Roos will be without key defender Brad Leggett as they chase a third-successive victory.

West Preston-Lakeside will make the trip to the Whittlesea Showgrounds with both Max Dreher and Essendon VFL’s Kobe Brown returning its line-up, however co-captain Nathan Valladares and Carl Adams both come out of the side that last week downed Montmorency.

Whittlesea has added Mitchell Andrews and Thomas Falls to take on the reigning premiers.

In MC Labour Division 2, Thomastown has named Anthony Capeci to play his first game since Round 2 when it takes on Lower Plenty in a top-three battle at Main Street Recreation Reserve. Lower Plenty will be without Coaches MVP leader Josh Turner.

Eltham has made nine changes for its fourth versus fifth match-up against Diamond Creek. Michael Still and Matthew Keys are among the Panthers’ inclusions, however suspended co-captain Brent Macaffer and Bradyn Taglieri will miss.

The Creekers have named ruckman Michael Florance and midfielder Nathan Searl, however in-form pair Tyler Barnes and Matthew Lewis will both miss.

Banyule has made a host of changes for its match against Panton Hill at Beverley Rd Oval. Brent Stanton, Nick Grabowski, Mitch Lovell, Nick Biscontin, Jake Truefeldt and Jacob Mitchell all come out of the side that last week beat Epping.

Elsewhere, St Mary’s has named former skipper Dillan Ronalds for its trip to Epping. The 2018 premiership captain hasn’t played since the Round 2 win over Thomastown.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, both Coaches MVP leaders will miss this week’s action, with Chris Ryall out of Kilmore’s home match against Mernda, while Masaki Miki won’t be among Heidelberg West’s side to take on South Morang.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
