The senior teams for this weekend’s matches have been selected.
Macleod has regained Cathal Corr, Hamish Paynter and Daniel O’Brien for its grand final rematch against Greensborough at De Winton Park.
The Roos will however be without injured forward Nick Lynch and Jack Langford, who returns to Essendon’s VFL side.
Greensborough will also be without a number of key players for the battle for second spot, with Nick Carnell, Rhys Boyden and Brent Ryan all set to miss.
Dale Nolan will play his first senior game for Heidelberg since Round 2, named among three changes for the Tigers’ trip to Bundoora.
While Nolan returns, the ladder-leader has lost key trio Sam Gilmore, Josh Gribben and Jarrod Hodgkin for the clash at Yulong Reserve.
David Mitchell and Joe Palazzolo are among four outs for Bundoora.
Brenton Briffa and Matthew Dornauf both return to bolster Whittlesea’s line-up for its trip to Eltham, while Billy Barden returns for Lower Plenty’s match against Montmorency.
On Sunday, West Preston-Lakeside will be without Shaun Gannon for its home match against Northcote Park. The Cougars regain Bryn Barnes-Webb from injury, however Ben McNiece returns to Essendon VFL.
In Division 2, David Folino and Jason Abela return to Thomastown’s line-up for its home match against Diamond Creek. The Creekers will be without Jai Norman.
Peter Hood has been named for the Fitzroy Stars’ trip to Lalor, however Mungara Brown looks set to miss.
In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, South Morang has named new recruit Harley Ryan in an extended squad for its clash with first-placed Epping. Mitch Buckley also returns for the Lions.
Epping has named Chris Chilcott in an extended line-up.
St Mary’s has included Isaac Edgar and former Reservoir and North Heidelberg tall Ryan Keyes for its trip to A.K. Lines to play Watsonia.
