Senior Teams | July 8 - July 10 | Northern Football Netball League

The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches are in.

In the Melbourne Greyhounds Division 1 top of the table clash, Nathan Honey will play his first game of the season for Heidelberg while Darcy Porter comes into Montmorency’s starting lineup.

Tom Bell and Tynan Smith headline inclusions for Greensborough’s game against Northcote Park. The Cougars will miss Benjamin McNiece.

Jack Bianchin returns for Macleod when they face Whittlesea while Brent Harvey is unavailable for North Heidelberg’s huge battle with West Preston-Lakeside.

In MC Labour Division 2, Diamond Creek will welcome back Hugh Kavanagh and Chris Moloney in their first vs second match with Eltham, the Creekers will miss Ryan Pingree. In a big blow, the Panthers will be without the likes of Finnbar Maley, Jackson Weatherald and Anton Woods.

St Mary’s gain three huge inclusions for their top five battle with Banyule, welcoming back Tane Cotter, Jake Dambrauskas and Myles Guldon. The Bears will miss Reuben Blackmore-Moore and Devin McDonald.

Anthony Capeci returns for Thomastown’s must win clash against a Fitzroy Stars side who will have Nathan Lovett-Murray available.

Darcy Barden will miss in Lower Plenty’s game against Epping.

Old Eltham Collegians will miss Sebastian Francis-Perkins and Nick Snowden in their Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 battle with South Morang. The Lions making one change.

Chris Ryall returns for Kilmore in their match with Reservoir while Ryan Bongetti will be an important inclusion for Mernda when they take on Heidelberg West.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
