The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

Tom Bellchambers has been named to make his Heidelberg debut in the club’s important clash against Montmorency. Bellchambers played 136 AFL games for Essendon before retiring at the conclusion of the 2020 season

Montmorency makes the trip to Warringal Park without Sam Binion, Will Golds and Stephen McCallum, however Blake Murphy does return against the Tigers, where a spot in the top-five is up for grabs.

Brad Leggett and Justin White return for Macleod’s home clash against ladder-leader West Preston-Lakeside at De Winton Park. The Roosters regain Adam Valeri but lose Garrett McDonagh.

After missing the past two matches, Nathan Hrovat is back in Greensborough’s line-up for its match against Whittlesea at Greensborough War Memorial Park.

Brent Harvey will play his first match since Round 7 when North Heidelberg hosts Hurstbridge at Shelley Reserve. It’s a timely return for the Bulldogs, who will be without Jesse Tardio, Jackson Starcevich and Liam Nunan.

The Bridges have lost key forward Bailey Jordan for the game. Jordan has been in great form this season, having booted 20 goals – including a bag of seven in the Round 3 match against North Heidelberg.

Kyle Galloway returns from VFL duties to play his first game for Northcote Park since Round 3 when the Cougars make the trip to Yulong Reserve to take on Bundoora. The Bulls will be without Scott Dowell and Tylar Young.

In MC Labour Division 2, Coaches MVP leader Josh Turner returns for Lower Plenty’s top of the table battle against Banyule.

The ladder-leader has also received a boost, with Nick Grabowski, Mitch Lovell and Jake Truefeldt all selected for the match at Montmorency Park South Oval.

Jhye Baddeley-Kelly will miss Epping’s trip to Diamond Creek after being called up to play for Coburg, while Myles Guldon returns for St Mary’s home game against Panton Hill.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, Masaki Miki returns for Heidelberg West’s game against Lalor at Lalor Reserve, while Kilmore regains Luke Chapman for its important match against Old Eltham Collegians.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
