The senior teams for this weekend’s matches.
Former AFL hard man Campbell Brown is the biggest inclusion of the weekend, with the ex-Gold Coast and Hawthorn utility named to play a cameo match for Lower Plenty against Montmorency.
Brown played 205 AFL games and kicked 109 goals for the Hawks and Suns. He was a member of Hawthorn’s 2008 premiership side and received an All Australian selection in 2007.
Elsewhere, Heidelberg legend Blair Harvey will make his long-awaited return from injury for the Tigers’ top of the table clash with Greensborough. Harvey hasn’t played since injuring his pectoral muscle against Whittlesea in Round 2.
The Boro have lost both Nick Riddle and Jack Johnston to VFL duties.
Julian Violato returns for Northcote Park’s trip to Whittlesea, while Eltham has made six changes to its side ahead of its clash with Bundoora. The Bulls have regained Andrew Carmusciano, but have lost Ricky Dyson.
Leigh Gilbert is out of North Heidelberg’s Division 2 ladder-leading match against Mernda, where the Demons will take an unchanged side into the game at Shelley Reserve.
New Diamond Creek coach Brian Hardman has made six changes to the Creekers side as they look to move off the bottom of the table when they take on neighbour Hurstbridge.
In Division 3, Michael Khoury has returned to Thomastown and will play his first game of the season tomorrow against second-placed Reservoir.
Meanwhile, St Mary’s regains young gun John Desmond for its clash with Parkside.
