The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

Northcote Park will welcome back a host of key players for its crunch game with West Preston-Lakeside, where a place inside the Meadows Greyhounds Division 1 top-five is on the line.

2017 Coaches MVP Jordan Perry, two-time Frank Rosbrook medallist Bronik Davies, Tyson Old and Lachlan Boscarini headline the inclusions as the Cougars look to end a five-game losing streak, although skipper Paul Dirago, Charles Le Fanu and Damian Galofaro will miss.

West Preston-Lakeside will be without key forward Liam McVeigh and Michael Marotta.

Greensborough forward Andrew Stellas returns for his side’s clash with Macleod at Greensborough War Memorial Park, where the Boro are hunting a 10th-consecutive win.

Macleod regains Jack Bianchin and Daniel O’Brien, although Shane Doherty, Chris Long, Haydon Manuel, Muhammad Saad, Harry Simington all come out of the side which downed Northcote Park in Round 9.

Ben Walton returns for Montmorency’s vital match against Hurstbridge at Montmorency Park North Oval, with both sides needing a win to keep their finals hopes alive.

The Bridges regain Jack Furlong and Riley Reading, but will be without Cameron Cloke and Mitchell Dale, who were both injured during last week’s close loss to West Preston-Lakeside.

North Heidelberg will be without Brent Harvey and Billy Hogan when it hosts Lower Plenty at Shelley Reserve, with the Bears making two changes from the side that lost to Bundoora by one point last week.

Brendan Carlyon and Brenton Briffa are among four exclusions for Bundoora ahead of its top-four outing against Heidelberg at Yulong Reserve. The Tigers have made one change – including Matthew Cecchin, but losing Christian Buykx-Smith.

In A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2, Eltham has added star utility Tim Currie for its top-four match against Whittlesea, although Michael Still, Daniel Coffield and Adam Brovedani won’t make the trip to the Whittlesea Showgrounds.

Peter Hood will play his first senior game of the season in the Fitzroy Stars’ important clash with Diamond Creek at Coventry Oval, where both sides are looking to claim their fifth win of the year. Carl Groth is also in for the Stars, while Hugh Kavanagh will miss for the Creekers.

Tyrone Leonardis returns to North Melbourne’s VFL outfit and will miss Watsonia’s home game against Epping, although the Saints have included three young stars from the Northern Knights. Alec Buchan returns for the Blues.

Meanwhile, Banyule will be without Brent Stanton and Daniel Camilleri for its trip to Whatmough Park to take on an improving St Mary’s, although Riley Hogarth returns.

In Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3, former Brisbane Lions midfielder Mitch Golby will make his Laurimar debut when the Power host Lalor at Laurimar Reserve. Golby played 56 AFL games between 2011-2015 and also has VFL experience with Port Melbourne.

South Morang welcomes back James Hewson for its important fixture against Mernda, where both sides will be looking to improve their finals chances. The Demons have suffered a major blow, with skipper Josh Delaney and exciting forward Nicolas Aleksovski set to miss.

Kilmore has named Stephen McIntyre for its trip to Heidelberg West, while Reservoir regains Donovan Stuart for its first meeting with Old Eltham Collegians.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to each match.
