The senior teams for this week’s NFL matches.
Ash Close and Paul Dirago both return for Northcote Park ahead of their side’s top-three clash against Bundoora in Meadows Greyhounds Division 1, although Jordan Collopy is out of the Cougars’ side.
Bundoora’s forward line has taken a hit, with Todd Hughes set to miss with Danny Younan.
Heidelberg will be far from full-strength when it travels to Macleod for the second grand final rematch of the year. Marcus Marigliani, Will Goss, Michael Looby and Lachlan Wilson will all miss skipper Michael Brunelli’s 150th match.
Matthew Stokes and Ali Fahour have been named for West Preston-Lakeside’s home clash against Montmorency, where the Magpies regain Brett Zorzi.
Riley Dyson and Paul Currie return for their respective sides when Whittlesea hosts Eltham, while Micheal Farrelly will miss Hurstbridge’s match against Greensborough through injury.
Clinton Benjamin returns for the Fitzroy Stars’ massive clash against Diamond Creek in A Plus Labour Solutions Division 2, however his side will be without key players Peter Hood and Clint Edwards.
Diamond Creek has named key forward Jess Cosaitis.
Thomastown has regained Jacob Osei-Duro, Lukas Fellows and Joe Vaccaro for its trip to Panton Hill, while Michael Ryan and Ben Gill are among Lower Plenty’s inclusion for its short journey to Watsonia.
Wayne Pavitt will play his 300th game when South Morang hosts Epping in Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3. Both sides have named extended line-ups, with skipper Josh Stavely and Daniel Moore included in the Blues’ 24-man squad.
Aidan Young looks set to play his first game of the season when Heidelberg West takes on ladder-leader Banyule. The Bears regain Nick Biscontin.
