The selected teams for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

There are plenty of big changes throughout the competition this weekend.

Brent Harvey returns for North Heidelberg’s massive top-three clash against Greensborough at Greensborough War Memorial Park. The Boro regain ruckman Jake McNamara but have lost Andrew Stellas.

West Preston-Lakeside has included three stars for its match against Macleod, with co-captain Ahmed Saad, Carl Adams and Adam Valeri all named for the reigning premier. The Roos have added 2018 Frank Rosbrook medallist Lucas Hobbs.

Northcote Park welcomes back five key players for its trip to Warringal Park, with Bronik Davies, Brock McLennan, Luke Svarc, Matthew Grocott and Lachlan King all named to play against Heidelberg.

Elsewhere, Tyson Old returns for Hurstbridge after last week playing for VFL outfit Coburg. The Bridges take on Bundoora at Yulong Reserve.

Three-time best and fairest Jacob Booth will play his first game for Diamond Creek this season when the Creekers host St Mary’s in MC Labour Division 2. Ewan Macpherson comes out of the side for the top-five clash at Coventry Oval.

Both Darcy Barden and Billy Barden return for Lower Plenty when the Bears host Fitzroy Stars at Montmorency Park South Oval. Nathan Lovett-Murray is one of four inclusions for the Stars.

Josh Beare will play his first game in 2021 when Thomastown hosts Watsonia at Main Street Recreation Reserve. James Rizzolio also comes back into the Bears’ line-up, however injured midfielder Tyrone Leonardis begins a stint on the sidelines.

Banyule has brought in Ricky Dyson and Nick Grabowski for its trip to A.E. Cracknell Reserve to take on Panton Hill, however Tim Martin and Brent Stanton are both among the outs for the undefeated ladder-leader.

The Redbacks regain Daniel Freeman and Jake Maher, but lose Nathan Hendry and Brent Ryan.

Reigning best and fairest Alec Buchan is back for Epping ahead of its home clash with Eltham. The Panthers regain key forward Michael Still and defender Darcy Vallance.

South Morang has added James Hewson and Ben Power to its squad for the Heidelberg Golf Club Division 3 top-of-the-table clash against Heidelberg West. Allan Young and Alex Purtell are among five inclusions for the Hawks.

Competition leading goal kicker Josh Williamson returns for Laurimar’s home match against Lalor, where the Bloods have included Pasquale Saccuzzo.

Selected teams for the NFNL Women’s competition will be named in the lead-up to Sunday’s matches.
