The senior teams for Round 8.
Round 8 marks the second of four rounds this season where the 23rd Player Rule will be used in Division 1. The rule enables top-flight clubs to play an additional under-19 player in their senior side.
Ben McNiece will play his first game of the season, named as one of four inclusions for Northcote Park alongside Joel Donaldson and Koden Colman.
The Cougars’ opponent, Eltham, will field arguably its strongest side of the year with Sean Bolger, Stephen Murray, Braydn Taglieri and Jay Neagle all added to the side which claimed its first win of the season last week.
Gary Moorcroft returns from suspension for Bundoora’s away game at Greensborough, meanwhile Justin White is back from injury as Macleod hosts Lower Plenty.
Michael Finn has been named for Heidelberg’s trip to Montmorency, while the Magpies have lost Harley Ryan and Wayne Pavitt.
In Division 2, Diamond Creek has made six changes to its side as it aims to become the first team to beat North Heidelberg this year.
Former AFL listed forward Djaran Whyman makes his Fitzroy Stars debut at Lalor tomorrow, added to the side with co-captain Mungara Brown.
Meanwhile, St Mary’s captain Michael Costanzo has been included for his side’s trip to Heidelberg West in Division 3. The Hawks will be without injured forward Kyl Ewart and co-captain Daniel Bailey.
