THE SELECTED senior teams for this weekend’s matches.
Both Bundoora and Montmorency have key omissions for their standalone Division 1 game over the Queen’s Birthday weekend.
The Bulls have lost Matthew Dennis – who is one of five NFL players selected to represent Vic Metro against AFL Queensland this weekend – along with Ned McKeown and Brendan Carlyon.
Montmorency has also lost Jesse Donaldson to Vic Metro, while defender Michael Fitz-Gerald is also set to miss the match at Yulong Reserve.
In Division 3, Banyule has named a host of big inclusions, headlined by former Essendon and Fremantle forward Scott Gumbleton. Gumbleton played 35 games for the Bombers between 2007-2013 and was listed by the Dockers in 2014.
He is set to make his Banyule debut against Heidelberg West tomorrow and will be joined in the Bears’ line-up by former Heidelberg and Macleod defender Will Drapac and reigning club champion Adam Barclay, who will play his first game in 2015 after sustaining an injury during the pre-season.
Heidelberg West has made five changes for the clash at Heidelberg Park, where both sides will be looking to end long losing streaks.
South Morang will be without Mitch Buckley for its top-three clash against Reservoir at Mill Park Lakes Reserve. The Mustangs have included Danny Delchano and David McGregor to an extended squad.
Watsonia and St Mary’s have both made multiple changes for their clash at A.K. Lines Reserve.
