The selected teams are in for this week’s NFNL senior football matches.

Both Montmorency and Bundoora will bring in some huge names for their qualifying final on Saturday.

Co-captain Sam Binion, competition leading goalkicker Patrick Fitzgerald and Carlton VFL’s Liam McMahon have all been selected for the Magpies while the Bulls welcome captain Luke Collins as well as tall duo Peter McEvoy and Shaun McKernan.

Bundoora however will miss Joel Fitzgerald, Jedd Longmire and Benjamin McNiece.

North Heidelberg have also included some huge names to their elimination final squad, as Jhye Baddeley-Kelly, Brock Chircop, Majak Daw and Kyle McDonald all return for the Bulldogs.

Their Sunday opponents in Hurstbridge welcome back Samuel House and Mitchell Wild.

Jacob Booth and Nathan Searl headline the inclusions for Diamond Creek in their second semi-final blockbuster with Eltham. The minor premiers also bring in Mitch Tobin while Eltham welcome back Joshua Merkel.

St Mary’s leading goalkicker Jeremiah Antypas returns for the first time since Round 17 in his side’s must win semi-final with South Morang.

The Lions have named an extended side with Gary Moorcroft and Ben Muscat some of the names expected to return.

In a boost for Mernda, Shannon Bennett comes back into the team to face Old Eltham Collegians in tomorrow’s preliminary final. The Turtles meanwhile go in unchanged from their semi-final win over Kinglake last week.
